Adam Amengual – Homies

I consider myself one of Adam’s biggest fans. He has been featured on this site before and I sing his praises to anyone who will listen.. I like to go through his website and his blog whenever I have a few minutes. His pictures are ones I like to sit with.. preferably with tea. Adam is one of those guys you can hire for anything.. His photos are thoughtful, patient and rich. I am putting this in writing because Adam is most certainly one of those dudes that I will say “I knew him when..”

So cheers to one of Adam’s latest projects, Homies. In his words:

“The following portraits were taken at Homeboy Industries. A non-profit based in Los Angeles CA USA. Everyone in the following photographs were at one time involved in a gang or incarcerated. Through a variety of services, Homeboy Industries helps these ‘men and women to redirect their lives and provide them with hope for their futures.’” – Adam Amengual
